Privacy

Cookie policy

A clear account of the browser storage currently used by the Fortentra website.

Last reviewed: 20 September 2026

What this site stores

The public site currently uses an essential PHP session cookie for security features such as form protection and administrator authentication. It also uses local browser storage to remember the selected light or dark theme and, when enabled, the selected country.

Essential storage

The session cookie is necessary for secure operation and expires according to the server session configuration. Theme and country preferences remain on your device until you clear browser storage or change the preference. They are not used to profile you across other websites.

Analytics, advertising and embedded services

Fortentra uses first-party, cookie-free aggregate measurement for page views, service interest, article performance, regional interest and contact conversions. It does not record IP addresses, user agents, fingerprints or persistent visitor identifiers, and it respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Fortentra does not currently set advertising cookies. If non-essential storage or third-party tracking is introduced, this policy and the consent controls must be updated before activation.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking the essential session cookie may prevent forms or administrator features from working correctly.

For UK requirements covering cookies and similar storage or access technologies, see the ICO storage and access technologies guidance. For Australian privacy considerations affecting online tracking technologies, see the OAIC tracking-pixel guidance. Fortentra does not currently use third-party tracking pixels.
